I Only Play With Real Stars

You want I understand what should not be understood
You want I turn dark into light, meaning of life around
I walked away to be strong, you return into my weak
I risk my life for you, in peace, free I fly around this way

I only play with real stars, the untrue turn away
To make amends, say prayers disappear into time
To forget, to remember, call again, be silent
To never need to dream is a pleasure from you

Some yesterdays remain as today
I am loved as needed
I may not have worldly everythings
Everything I ask for from you I receive

I only play with real stars, the untrue turn away
To make amends, say prayers disappear into time
To forget, to remember, call again, be silent
To never need to dream is a pleasure from you

But

You want I understand what should not be understood
You want I turn dark into light, meaning of life around
I walked away to be strong, you return into my weak
I risk my life for you, in peace, free I fly around this way

I only play with real stars, the untrue turn away
To make amends, say prayers disappear into time
To forget, to remember, call again, be silent
To never need to dream is a pleasure from you

What Does Silence Run Away

What does silence run away

Friends don't care
They care
Where are you today
There is no need to speak

What does silence run away

3 23 2008

..................

I've Had Enough From Time

I've had enough from time
The reason for life

In today's world
I find more peace alone
Thought on my life
Forgotten by everyone
Touch for my love
In my only need
Stop on my heart
To die quietly awake

I've had enough from time
The reason for life

Evil from all around
Spare never my own
I mention again after tonight
God and why
Excuses in every always
Lies and lies and more lies

I've had enough from time
The reason for life

Absent words sent
I have to read through
For my feelings
For my way to grow
Seems my forever
For only you to know

I've had enough from time
The reason for life

I've had enough from time
The reason for life

.........................................

I Really Don't Care

No more in my writing should I see
The same words to hold
I asked for all to want
I have no need to change

I live my home and peace
I will say whatever I please
Use whatever I believe

Walk when I decide to like
Use my heart, no one else
And as far as earth and world

I really don't care
I really don't care

I find a more precious thought in my alone
My joy as easy

Should I dream when I stand
My wish at hand
And as far as love of life

I really don't care
I really don't care

If you are or not near

I really don't care
I really don't care

.........................

Who Cares Really For Me

Hanging in yesterday
The only place warm for today
Seems more like snow white
Lost within my fight to dream
Held down by evil on this land
Who knows why, where next

Who cares really for me

Thinking of you again
Reading the views, looking through
I move to speak, remain quiet
I feel nothing I say will change
Knowing you as I do

Who cares really for me

Is this a new you really
Doesn't touch me different
My tree branches are the same
Is this a new year really
You could have fooled me
A moment stops by to say

Who cares really for me

Who cares really for me anyway

.....................................

In This Story Of You

I have to live with a lot over you
Yesterday fullfilled then left blue
Should ever to be real as was true
I have to speak how to know you
This song doesn't seem to say everything

The travels, so many thoughts for you
The sure, how you always said
Whatever I need
You would be there for me

In this story of you seems empty
Of the right ending

How I could never end your story
Still missing a few pictures
Happy for you always
In my life, my love
Only something is missing
In today, in tonight of you

In this story of you
Of the right ending

In this story of you
Of the right ending

..............................

One Song Left To Sing

One song left to sing
One song left to play
Will you send again my way

I can not change memories
However I feel
You cared, I cared
I didn't know your world well

One song left to sing
One song left to play
Will you send again my way

One song, our private affair
Talks between us
Never went anywhere
Same sorrow for loss tonight

One song left to sing
One song left to play
Will you send again my way

................................

Living In The Past With You

Living in the past with you
When you were real and true

Before the days of love gone wrong
Before the ways of pretend time

Living in the past with you
When you were real and true

Before the nights of no return
Before the sun would feel low
Before the world took over
Before your life was torn apart

Before those hands touched you wrong
Before those needs became your hold
To get away, talk about truth
I don't need to watch dates remind me

Living in the past with you
When you were real and true

Before my sky fell apart
After I waited for the right tone
Before that one solo heart broke
I woke into you were now gone
You would never be gone

Living in the past with you
When you were real and true

.......................................

Had We Love

Had we love we could choose
Had we love, have we now
Not the same with you away

Resting on quiet time
Along side of my silent mind
Eyes closed without reason
Waiting on night to move along

Had we love we could choose
Had we love, have we now
Not the same with you away

I hear life won't be the same
I read life carries on the same
I see life doesn't appear different
Was life written this way

Left alone to remember you
Leave me alone to feel true
Something woke me into you
Long ago time together

Had we love we could choose
Had we love, have we now
Not the same with you away

..........................................

Scholars Often Tell Me

Another lesson in life for life
Another story to tell
A meaning to reason
We all know so well

A praise
We may have forgotten
A hurt
Along side of our hearts
Never to miss the feeling
To learn a little bit more

Scholars often tell me
There is more to come
We are far from an end
Unless to begin again

Now I don't know everything
I do know your love
I listen, I watch with open care
I seem far but I am close

Some people believe in death
Some people believe in anew
Some people believe they return
Walking around earth again

Scholars often tell me
There is more to come
We are far from an end
Unless to begin again

Now I don't know everything
I do know your love
I listen, I watch with open care
I seem far but I am close

What keeps me real today
I still believe in you
I believe I still love you
What ever that is to say

Scholars often tell me
There is more to come
We are far from an end
Unless to begin again

..................................

I Toss My Real Forever To Your Hands

I toss my real forever to your hands
I can tell what will be real, what is next
Do I have to wake from this sleep
Do I have to sleep this earth tonight

Only a friend going by to break this sky
From the same clouds passing through
Every time I find you I find my love
Where am I to see you as I have

From the beginning of my time
Today a want from you to continue
Not many turns give life to my eyes
Not many true feelings do I hold

I toss my real forever to your hands
I can tell what will be real, what is next
Do I have to wake from this sleep
Do I have to sleep this earth tonight

Silence doesn't change my love for you

...........................................................

In The Silence Of My Love

And then,

I try to say what is true
How I feel, why
I am just a writer of my life
Where, within, my home I stay
Sending notes to my heart
Hopes of god delivering
For these futher ways along

In the silence of my love
I spend my hours
I come out when I must be gone
Into another touch
Of my day, of my night
But I
I return as anyone

Inside of my misfortune
Any thought I may think
A little bit of good comes around
There should be more togetherness
In the world, on earth, and in heaven
Could I be the same I decide

In the silence of my love
I spend my hours
I come out when I must be gone
Into another touch
Of my day, of my night
But I
I return as anyone

I try never to turn sounds on not mine
No more of the same heart ache playing
In my understanding rare from you
The truth I am owed will shine through
What will the lord decide now

In the silence of my love
I spend my hours
I come out when I must be gone
Into another touch
Of my day, of my night
But I
I return as anyone

this was written on 3 13 95  around my time of deciding to leave Hollywood. The basis of my love answered from Michael had come through. I knew he would be off in other ventures for various reasons or I thought this. I figured Michael will come back around when the time comes and whatever will be will be. I continued writing. As I read this writing appears I choose the same. I will wait Michael. I know you too well to let go now. I also know the people who really love me all too well from my yesterdays in Hollywood.

Free As I Need

Wishes for there is a sky
Dreams for there is this sea
Touches to cry for, reach to use
Gifts to believe in, to the rescue
Numbers to count, my very own
Must be my night, thought to share
Time to pass in feelings of real
As hated as I am, the few to like
Bare of hurt, less of cold
Away from world
Called by you never heard
Running all day, awake until morning
Mind quiet, peace, earth worn, torn
A wait to remain, writing for trust
Free as I need

......................

Standing In The Ripples Of My Clouds

Standing in the ripples of my clouds
Walking along the waves of my sun
Into your arms and heart

Do I create you just to feel you
Toward some beyond place with you
Only to find my empty way real
Could you touch me now
Try to understand

Standing in the ripples of my clouds
Walking along the waves of my sun
Into your arms and heart

Shining a sealgull with your hands
I watch within your mind
To want you somehow
To keep you to myself

Standing in the ripples of my clouds
Walking along the waves of my sun
Into your arms and heart

What Should Life Bring

Why I lay here now
Why I wonder somehow
Do I choose tonight
Look for a bright life
It's hard to trust my eyes

What should life bring
Loss of one or another
What should life be
Behind us more than now
In front a breath
Our absence yet to come
A meaning, lessons torn

Entertained, worldly remains

Where may I be when
Expected as a winner
Nothing more than a loser
Does understanding agree
Do barriers make peace

From mother to father
Who is most to touch
Brothers, sisters
Right or wrong
Stood together
Fenced in by how

What should life bring
Loss of one or another
What should life be
Behind us more than now
In front a breath
Our absence yet to come
A meaning, lessons torn

Prayers Are Pleased For You

Prayers are pleased for you

Wanting to catch the peace of my morning
Beside your heart again
I set my day to wake on your feelings
Listen for your love within
My need through you, trees I may pass
This sea is moving gently my eyes of want
The color of tomorrow stands in my way
With no new thing to say

Prayers are pleased for you

Making Rain

Making rain this is all I know
Trying to find understanding's road
Making rain paying with my heart
Once protected by you

Making rain in my sleep
Win this world one time
Making rain I never said goodbye
How time plays with my eyes

Making rain is my life

I speak to no one though I try
Holding reason alive for a song
Just to carry feelings along
I'll follow you after the sun

Making rain is my life

Making rain it's my life

I speak to no one though I try
Holding reason alive for a song
Just to carry feelings along
I'll follow you after the sun

Making rain is my life

Making rain it's my life

Making rain is my life

Making rain it's my life

Only One Light

On a broken old chair
In a dirty old room
With only one light
Only one light
To see my way
Only one light
To shine on me
Only one light
I can't understand
I can't hear why
Only one light
On a broken old chair
In a dirty old room
With only one light
